I’m Shannon, spirit name Little Feather, I am Eagle Clan, and I am a member of the Lax Kw’alaams Band in BC. I am a graduate of the Community Worker Program, at George Brown College in Toronto and now I am a student at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. I have always been a traveler, wanderer, and nature lover.
Outside of studying and volunteering, I love exploring the outdoors to see what simple miracles I can find. I enjoy the magnificence of the small things. Nature is my playground. There is nothing like stepping outside and finding something new — a flower or a plant, wildlife, or just witnessing the changing of the seasons.
